My name is Jagdeep, and my journey into photography has been shaped by both technical foundation and creative instinct. I developed an early interest in computers and began my career as a professional photo editor in India, where I learned the true “DNA” of an image—light, color, and texture.
But my passion was always behind the lens. I initially pursued nature and wildlife photography, working in unpredictable environments that taught me patience, timing, and how to capture fleeting moments. That instinct continues to define my work today—sometimes you don’t choose your profession; your passion chooses you.
In 2009, I began building what would become JC Arts Photography, officially launching it in 2011 after photographing my first destination wedding in Delhi. A key turning point was the guidance of my mentor, which inspired me to pursue weddings seriously.
After moving to the United States in 2018, I adapted to a new style of storytelling and relaunched my brand in California in 2019. Today, I specialize in weddings, events, and editorial photography, bringing a documentary approach with a refined, cinematic finish—capturing real moments as they naturally unfold.
Specializing in luxury south asian and destination weddings, Jagdeep is a globally traveling photographer who has captured over 200 weddings across diverse locations. Photographing 25–30 weddings each year, his cinematic eye and documentary instinct preserve not just how each celebration looked—but how it truly felt.
